Frontier Saxifraga Jacket is engineered as a protective outer layer for use in extreme and rapidly changing weather conditions. Designed for active outdoor pursuits such as skiing, mountaineering, fishing, and other high-intensity activities, the jacket is equally well suited for everyday use in challenging conditions. Saxifraga combines advanced materials, functional design, and a high level of weather resistance, while maintaining full freedom of movement and confidence in demanding environments.
The jacket is constructed from 100% nylon and equipped with a 3-layer Toray Dermizax 3L membrane with a waterproof rating of up to 20,000 mm. Its non-porous membrane structure provides reliable protection against rain, wet snow, and strong winds while maintaining the breathability required for comfort during active movement. Additional moisture resistance is delivered by an eco-friendly C0 DWR water-repellent coating that contains no PFC and offers performance comparable to the C6 standard. All seams are fully taped, while waterproof zippers and magnetic storm flaps help prevent water ingress in harsh weather.
The functionality of the Frontier Saxifraga is refined down to the smallest details. The adjustable hood with a rigid brim offers dependable protection from wind, rain, and snow. Two deep side pockets and a spacious internal pocket provide practical storage for essential items. Underarm ventilation supports effective temperature regulation during high physical activity, while a chin guard helps prevent zipper pinching. Velcro-adjustable cuffs and an elastic hem ensure a personalized fit and additional wind protection.
