Frontier Helarctos Jacket is a technical cold-season solution designed for active users who value reliable winter gear. The model targets hikers, shooting sports enthusiasts, and fans of military-style apparel, as well as military personnel, law enforcement, and security agencies. Helarctos combines functionality, durability, and comfort, providing protection in challenging weather conditions.
The outer shell uses lightweight yet durable Rip-Stop nylon that allows airflow while resisting mechanical damage. An additional PU coating gives the fabric water- and dirt-repellent properties and improves resistance to oily substances. A mid-layer membrane protects against moisture and supports ventilation, helping maintain a comfortable internal climate during active movement.
3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation, developed by the American company 3M, provides thermal performance. The insulation density measures 150 g/m² in the body and 120 g/m² in the sleeves, balancing warmth with freedom of movement. An ergonomic cut supports mobility, while a fleece-lined neck area adds comfort and improves moisture handling.
The jacket features an adjustable hood, water-resistant zippers, and quality components, along with a chin guard, an adjustable hem, and Velcro-adjustable cuffs. Velcro inserts on the sleeves support identification patches, while a pocket system with four external pockets and two internal pockets provides space for essential gear.
