Frontier Borealis Down Jacket is designed for cold-season use, both in everyday settings and during active recreation, sports, or outdoor trips. The jacket combines lightweight construction, warmth, and practicality, delivering comfort at low temperatures without restricting freedom of movement. Its versatile design allows the Borealis to adapt easily to different environments, from urban use to outdoor activities.
The outer shell uses 100% nylon (56 g/m²) with a Rip-Stop weave, maintaining durability and breathability. A DWR water-repellent finish protects the fabric from moisture and light precipitation. An inner membrane rated to the JIS 5K/5K standard balances moisture protection with effective ventilation during active movement.
Natural duck down with an FP rating of 750 and a fill density of 100 g/m² provides thermal insulation. A water-repellent treatment helps the down maintain its performance in wet conditions for up to 480 hours. Quilted sections keep the insulation evenly distributed and prevent shifting over time. An ergonomic cut supports unrestricted movement, while a fleece-lined collar adds comfort and helps manage moisture at the neck area.
The jacket features an adjustable hood, a two-way front zipper with a chin guard, an adjustable hem, and elastic cuffs that help block cold air. Two outer pockets insulated with microfleece and an internal pocket offer practical storage for documents or small items.
