The model focuses on protection from rain, wind, and cold while maintaining full freedom of movement and comfort during physical activity. The jacket can be worn as a standalone outer layer or combined with the Frontier Beta insulated jacket to form a versatile layered system.
The outer shell is made from 100% nylon with a Taslon weave (70D/160D), offering high abrasion resistance and durability under mechanical stress. Inside, the jacket features a 3-layer PU membrane (30D) with a waterproof rating of 20,000 mm and breathability of 20,000 g/m²/24h, effectively releasing moisture and helping maintain a comfortable internal climate. Additional protection from rain and wet snow comes from an eco-friendly C0 DWR water-repellent finish.
The jacket’s construction prioritizes mobility and comfort during movement. The adjustable hood with a rigid brim uses elastic drawcords to provide reliable face protection in rainy conditions. The waterproof front zipper includes a chin guard to prevent pinching, improving comfort during active use. Underarm ventilation zippers allow quick heat release when intensity increases. Velcro-adjustable cuffs and an elastic drawcord at the hem ensure a secure fit and added wind protection.
